TERMS AND AGREEMENT

Mission:

BizAlert was established as a consumer-driven, membership based company dedicated to building community and promoting honesty and integrity. Our mission is to provide an independent, unbiased source of information and consumer ratings of service providers; and, to influence the quality of service by collecting customer satisfaction ratings on each one. BizAlert offers an annual membership to the consumers of Arkansas. This membership provides an opportunity for members to share information through a community website and newsletter. 

Member:

An individual who has paid the annual membership fee and agreed to the BizAlert contract. BizAlert retains only the personal information provided by its members. This information will not be sold or rented for marketing purposes and will only be used to maintain our consumer membership list.

Membership Fee:

$29 annual fee, plus a one time, initial $10 administrative fee.

Payment of Membership Fee:

Members may pay by personal check, cashier check, money order or credit card. By use of this site and membership, members agree to all terms listed herein. 

Renewal of Membership Fee:

A renewal notice will be sent to members paying by personal check, cashier check or money order at least 30 days prior to end of the annual membership. Memberships paid by credit card will automatically be renewed annually unless notification is received 30 days prior to renewal from the member.

Cancellation of Membership Fee:

Members can cancel their membership within 30 days of the assignment of the membership identification number. 

Member/User Identification Number:

This is a number unique to each member. The Member ID number will be assigned to new members as they sign up for their annual membership. This number, along with a password each member will designate, will be used to access the BizAlert website.

Consumer Ratings:

Ratings are completely consumer driven. The ratings shown are an average taken from consumer rating forms received from the consumers. The rating level will depend on the number of rating forms received and the level of rating given by members who have used the services. BizAlert has no influence on the consumer rating process nor can BizAlert validate the consumer rating forms submitted.

Service Providers:

BizAlert does not evaluate any company or service as to their legitimacy, nor can BizAlert be held responsible for product or services rendered by any listed service provider, and members agree to hold BizAlert harmless for any and all damages arising out of the use of listed services or products. Members should check the legitimacy of all services prior to their use.
